PS-752: ICAO Offers Personnel As International Advisers And Observers In Investigation

The International Civil Aviation Organisation, ICAO has offered to assist in the investigation of the air crash involving Ukrainian Airline killing 176 on board in Tehran, Iran, by providing some of its personnel owing to request from Iranian government. According Anthony Philbin, who is the Chief at the Communications department of the United Nation’s agency through a statement said: “ICAO has accepted an invitation from the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran to provide expert advice in support of the investigation of the aircraft accident involving Ukraine International Airlines flight PS-752.” Explaining the modus operandi of the ICAO personnel appointed, Philbin commented: “Noting that all relevant States have been granted the right to participate in the investigation in compliance with Annex 13 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation (Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation), ICAO has appointed senior and expert technical staff who will now ser
