At the just concluded  thirteenth ICAO Air Services Negotiation (ICAN2021) Event  hosted by the Aeronautica Civil of Colombia from 6 to 10 December 2021  in Bogota, Colombia, it was announced that Nigeria will be the next host of the 2022 edition.   In an acceptance response, Sen. Hadi Sirika, Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation during the closing ceremony in Bogota said: “On behalf of the nation, it is more than an honour as we are considered as a good candidate that will host ICAN 2022. UAE Refused Air Peace 3 Slots Despite Getting 21 From Nigeria-Capt. Musa   Nigeria Government has again suspended Emirates Airlines flights to Lagos but approves only one-weekly flight to Abuja due to how Air Peace was treated by denying the country’s only airline flying to Sharjah in United Arab Emirate(UAE) 3 slots but approved only one-weekly flight.   The withdrawal on Emirates takes  effect from December 12, 2021, Emirates Airlines can now fly into Abuja (Nigeria) just once weekly on Thursdays, while its Lagos flight is suspended.   Capt. Musa Nuhu, the Director-General of NCAA, said that it withdrew the approval following the refusal of the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) to grant equal rights to the sole Nigerian carrier, Air Peace flying to Dubai via Sharjah.   Nuhu explained that Sen.
